Sam Howry
Sam L. Howry resides in Edmond, Oklahoma and is a professional rodeo announcer. He serves as a Director on the Board of the International Professional Rodeo Association. He has been announcing rodeos throughout the United States since 1978, and currently works more than 40 rodeos per year. In 1994, Sam was named "Top Announcer" of the IFR-24 Contract Acts Showcase, and on several occasions has been chosen to announce the ACRA, TPRA, and the Young Legends Finals.
Sam has earned a B.A. in Public Relations/Oral Communications and an M.A. in Political Science/Urban Affairs, both from the University of Central Oklahoma. He has facilitated professional groups, training seminars, and educational programs in a variety of settings.
